SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Senior Airman Jenna Smeenk was selected as the 114th Fighter Wing Junior Enlisted Council member of the quarter for 2nd Quarter in July. The Junior Enlisted Council chooses their recipients based on volunteering, participation, and an essay submission. Airman Smeenk is a member of the Operations Group Intel section and has been a member of the South Dakota Air National Guard since 2007.

PARAMARIBO, SURINAME – From left to right Senior Airman Trevor Krcil, 114th Fighter Wing Civil Engineer Squadron, Senior Airman Karl McClamma 556th Red Horse Squadron, and Master Sgt. Edward Ness, 114th Fighter Wing Civil Engineer Squadron, use a wooden spacer to adjust the perlins before fastening them to the trusses July 2, 2011. McClamma and an engineering apprentice from the 556th were sent over to help the 114th and see firsthand the installation of the trusses before returning to the Nieuw Amsterdam Clinic where the 556th is preparing to install trusses at that clinic.
