Colonel Edwin A. VanDerWolde is the Commander of the 114th Mission Support Group, Joe Foss Field, Sioux Falls, SD.

Colonel VanDerWolde received his Baccalaureate Degree in Business Administration from Sioux Falls College, Sioux Falls, SD in 1991.

He enlisted into the South Dakota Air National Guard in 1983, achieving the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant at the Academy of Military Science in 1997.

Colonel VanDerWolde assumed the position of Commander of the Mission Support Group in November of 2012. Prior, he held the position of Deputy Commander of the 114th Maintenance Group and Commander of the 114th Logistics Readiness Squadron.
