World War II pilot visits old aircraft
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - United States Air Force Lt. Col. Wendell Hanson (Ret.) smiles for a picture after his flight on the "Miss Mitchell", a B-25 bomber that is here for the Sioux Falls Airshow. Hanson was a B-25 pilot with the 341st Bomber Squadron during Wold War II and flew over 50 missions in the China Burma India Theater. The B-25 and several other historical and modern aircraft will be on display during the airshow July 21 and 22. (National Guard photo by Tech. Sgt. Quinton Young)(Released)
