Director of Staff briefs unit members

PIERRE, S.D. - Col. Russ Limke, Director of Staff for the South Dakota Air National Guard, Joint Force Headquarters, visits with airmen at the Pierre Indian Learning Center prior to shift change here June 4. Airmen from the 114th Fighter Wing were activated to assist with sandbagging, levee patrol and other security operations. Nearly 1,300 South Dakota National Guardsmen have been called to perform various flood response duties throughout the state in this historic flooding event.
