National Guard continues levee construction, working with community in Dakota Dunes

DAKOTA DUNES, S.D. - Red Cross volunteers are present at the Dakota Dunes levee project providing water and snacks to help keep South Dakota National Guard members and civilian volunteers hydrated and full of energy to aid in flood response efforts along the Missouri River, Thursday, June 2, 2011. Soldiers and Airmen are working around the clock in this historic flooding event and continue to work side by side with local, state and federal agencies and volunteers to provide flooding assistance to the citizens of South Dakota.
