South Dakota National Guard flood response

PIERRE, S.D. -- Tech. Sgt. Kevin Elder, a Crew Chief with the 114th Fighter Wing, assists Pierre resident Mark Barnett with another load of sandbags. More than 200 South Dakota Air National Guard Airmen were activated on May 30 as part of an effort to minimize flooding throughout the cities of Pierre and Ft. Pierre, S.D. More than 100 additional Airmen were activated on May 31 to Dakota Dunes, S.D., to assist with flood relief in that area of the state.(SDNG photo by Capt.
