Final Flight for 478

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - F-16 tail number 478 prepares to launch for the last time from Joe Foss Field, S.D. July 9. The aircraft was piloted by Lt. Col. Gregory W. Lair on its final flight to be retired at Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz. It was the ninth of the 114th Fighter Wing's block 30 aircraft to leave the base this year.
