Block 40 F-16's Arrive at Joe Foss Field
SIOUX FALLS, SD - The first of 22 Block 40 F-16 aircraft arrived at Joe Foss Field, SD on April 27. The aircraft will be retired from the 388th Fighter Wing at Hill AFB, Utah and make their new home with the South Dakota Air National Guard. Major Cory J. Kestel, 175th Fighter Squadron, piloted aircraft number 463 on the historic flight along with 114th Fighter Wing commander, Col. Russ A. Walz, who piloted aircraft number 428.
