Tech Sgt. Jon Leffring, 114th Maintenance Squadron electronic countermeasures technician, a member of the 114th Fighter Wing for over 9 years, took flight as part of the Recruiting Incentive Program May 25 at Joe Foss Field, S.D.  Leffring earned an F-16 ride because he assisted in recruiting two new members into the 114th Fighter Wing.

"My father is a teacher and an avid military supporter. He asked me to share my military experience and benefits with his class." stated Leffring.

Austin Rhodes, 114th Civil Engineering Squadron firefighter, and Jennifer Balderas, 114th Mission Support Group security forces, were the two recruits that Leffring brought to the unit due to simply sharing his experiences.

"The incentive flight is one of the best experiences of my life." said Leffring.

The Recruiting Incentive Program is used by the 114th Fighter Wing to encourage members to refer perspective recruits to the unit. The success of this program has allowed the unit to extend it for another month giving members an opportunity for an F-16 ride.

"I don't think a person can really put a price on that experience." said Leffring.
