The 114th Force Support Squadron PERSCO team travelled to the CRTC located at Volk Field, Wis., June 20-26.  The PERSCO team completed this required training under the instruction of Senior Master Sgt. Rebecca Boddicker, 155th Air Refueling Wing PERSCO team chief and PERSCO instructor.  Members of the 114th trained alongside the PERSCO team from the 155th Air Refueling Wing from Lincoln, Neb.

"The training curriculum covers our responsibilities home station and at a deployed location." stated Master Sgt. Sondra Vogt, 114th Acting PERSCO team chief.

The PERSCO team must maintain qualifications by completing annual home station training.  Home station training includes understanding responsibilities for the team while working in a deployed location and programs used to complete tasks, such as DCAPES, personnel accountability program.

"Our number one job is accountability, we must maintain 100% accountability at all times." said Vogt

Senior Master Sgt. Boddicker presented a new home station curriculum for members of the 114th and 155th PERSCO teams.  Up to this point, the curriculum had to be presented by a trained instructor, but recently, the curriculum has been given to all bases to have the ability to complete at their own bases.

"We have so many new airmen on the PERSCO team, so it has been beneficial to set aside a week to get them all trained.  It works better than spreading it over 12 months while at drill." stated Vogt.

The 114th and 155th have been building relationships by training together.  Members are meeting their counterparts and making connections.

"Comradery is being built when we do this training not only within our own organization but also with our counterparts from other bases."  said Maj. Sallie Ketcham, 114th Force Support Squadron commander.
